Alright I'm a bandwagon jumper!

Due largely to the shunning I received from my young women, once they found out I had not read these books, I decided to borrow them and see what all the fuss was about. I must say they were actually to my surprise quite good and addicting. No matter how frustrated I was with the characters or plot I couldnt put the books down and ended up finishing them all within a week. And when all your free time for an entire week goes into the lives of a handful of fictional characters, you realize that once real life comes back around and your mind is still thinking things like, "What crazy thing is Bella going to do to mess things up with perfect Edward?" (You know its coming...) then you really are pathetic. Anyways, I thought they were actually really well written and I must say I am really looking forward to book 4 and the movie. Thanks to everyone that gave me a hard time about reading them cause your right, they are really fun books!! Have you guys read them? Any comments? Since Cordelle hasnt read them (and probably never will) its nice to talk about them with someone...so...feel free to share.

Best Buds

Okay so my good friend Val just sent me these pictures she took of Seth and his friend Lily. Most of them are before and after a spaghetti dinner so thats why their stripped down. And lucky for me their still too young to be embarrassed by these pics, otherwise I think they'd both kill us. But I just had to share some of them.
Other than that things around here are going pretty good. The wedding announcement business is doing pretty hot! So thats been nice. And I've been feeling pretty good. But right now I am OBSESSED with captain crunch berries. I am embarrassed to admit that I finished one of those big malt-o-meal bags by MYSELF in about 4 days. Gross huh? I just can stop eating them. What about you guys? Any funny Prego cravings?

Mothers Day!

This mothers day was great. Cordelle and Seth worked together hard and put together my long-awaited swing/bench for our porch. We have such a big front porch it was driving me nuts not having anything there. So for Mothers day I finally got my bench, and I love it! My porch is now complete!
I must say though, one of the toppers for mothers day was when Seth came up to me and said, "I poop." And he really had. I was so pleased and quite beside myself that he actually told me he was poopy (before I smelt it) and then didnt move a muscle while I changed him (absolutely stunning for me). That alone was a fantastic mothers day present. I know, I'm easily pleased. Anyways happy mothers day to all ya moms out there!

Its kind of funny and love ya mom, but it totally reminds me of you.

WE'RE HAVING A GIRL...by the way, dont know if I mentioned it, but I'm pregnant!

Okay, okay so its been almost a month since I've blogged! Serious slackage, I know. But I havent dont a whole lot this past month and there hasnt been any immediate pictures to post, until now. So yes, we're having a girl. Secretly I am so glad its a girl. It will be fun to have one of each now. But now I get to decorate in girlishness and I am excited. I know, I've never been too girly myself but the thought of little skirts, and bright flowers is definitely bringing out some added estrogen in me. Granted a boy would have been cheaper, I am excited (and willing to spend) for the girl stuff. Cordelle, guessed it all along. He assumed since I was sick with this pregnancy (unlike with Seth) that it had to be a girl. Who knows maybe there's some truth to that. Anyways I was going to post the ultrasound pics, but Cordelle accidentally took off with them for the weekend. He and Seth are on their first father and son camp-out. Fun huh? We'll see if dad can handle a toddler on his own in the mountains. Actually he is a totally awesome dad and I have no worries about them both having a great time. And I am certainly not complaining about the night all to myself, to blog, read, and well do pretty much anything that is difficult to do with a toddler around. Who knows though, I still might just sit around and watch the Jazz game. Anyways its up to me, and there's great freedom in that.
Well anyways, Here's some pictures of Seth and one with his favorite stuffed animal, Thumper that aunt Tallie gave him.
Enjoy!
