WELCOME COLLIN BRADY MORRIS TO THE WORLD

Well he's here! Hurray!  Am I'm not pregnany anymore!  Double Hurray!  One night I'm watching the family bowl at the Cedar Bowling lanes, being all huge and pregnant, the next morning come 4:00AM my water breaks!  So I casually get Cordelle out of bed, have him call my brother to come stay with the kids, shower and meander my way over to the hospital.  Of course I still don't go into labor on my own so they get me on pitocin and those contractions start coming good and hard.  Thank heavens for some pain killer I've never heard of that made things spin a bit but seriously was AMAZING and then of course the epidural.  Dont know how you crazy people do it without one!  But 4 pushes and little Collin Brady was out!  He is beautiful. Weighing in at exactly 7 lbs and 19.5 inches (exactly like Jaquelle) and man are they identical to me (with of course one major difference :).

Pre-baby bath
Ahh.  Clean, post bath baby

so tiny.

The biliruben lights.  Poor guy had to be on these lights for about 8 hours but they didnt make us stay an extra night thank goodness because his levels had gone down dramatically.  Fascinating what these lights can do.  How did they ever cure jaundice in the olden days?

I can't believe Brett and Tiffany drove all the way down to see Collin.  But it was a great surprise.  I think almost everyone in my family was down at some point during my hospital stay.  I am so blessed with such great family!

Bringing him home.  With cousins there too, the kids were so excited for their new brother to be home.

LIttle Summer Adventures

I beat myself up sometimes cause I dont think we do anything fun with the kids especially when I'm major preggers but while scrolling through my pictures I do find some random fun things we've done this summer so this is just to document my super mom fun-ness!
One Sunday afternoon we went around outside the Golf Course and collected golf balls.  We do this every so often but this day we hit the jackpot!  Its like an easter egg hunt for the kids but you can do it almost any time of the year!  We send the kids out searching among tall weeds and bushes outside the hitting range.  We ended up finding close to 35 golf balls!  Crazy eh?  The kids loved it! Only thing that could have made our impromptu game more fun was to wear pants and no sandals among the prickly weeds.

We usually are here WAY more during the summer, but at least we made it once before school starts.  Here is Jaq and her peach at the Lake on the Hill.

Of course we usually are there with our good friends Madi and Wyatt (Trey and Melissa) and this year was no different!  We love having them during the summer to go to the lake, the Library and Maggie Moo dollar cone runs.  Unfortunately this summer has been extremely busy for both of us that this was the first time we made it out to the Lake together.

The kids, trying to practice their floating that they learned from their first year of Swimming lessons at Mandy El'haltas pool.  Madi is probably the only one ACTUALLY floating but I love that Jaq laying on the bottom of the 3 inch lake is so proud of her "floating".....and the grimmace on her face the whole time is priceless.

The reason I take include this picture is to remember the summer of the pink skirt.  Jaquelle  LOVES this little skirt, and yes its cute but she wears it probably 3-4 times a week (usually when I cant catch it and wash it before she digs it out of the laundry).  Matter of fact she has changed once again today as I write this back into the pink skirt.  I guess it could be worse, but seriously sometimes I'll look at it and have to literally pry it off her to wash it cause its so gross.  I haven't seen the girl in a pair of pants in 4 months.

Saw this one day on the way home.  I was naive enough to think this was some sort of super cloud, but turns out it was one of the many fires here in Utah that summer.  Still pretty cool.  Looks like a huge explosion!

This just melted my heart and I totally want to keep this forever!  Seth drew/wrote it for me one day.  "You are Beautiful." I love how he tried to sound that out!  Smart kid!

Jaq at Arctic Circle.  (notice the pink skirt once again).  I think this place is disgusting, but the kids love to come here with their dad and get a cheap cone cause its the last restaurant from Cedar to Enoch.

BOWLING!!! The kids have been begging us to go bowling every time we pass by the bowling alley which is every day we go into Cedar.  So we finally did one night for family night.  I don't get the hype of bowling and it goes really quick.  And for two OCD germ-a-phobic parents this place was like a nightmare.  J/K  we're not that bad, but I don't think I've ever said "don't touch that." or "keep your hands off of your face" so many times. :)

I think these ramps actually made my kids scores worse.  They were so crooked.  But then they probably could'nt lift the balls on their own so they were necessary.

Seth loved the cool shoes.

A victory jump.

Year 2 of Tball

Another year of Tball was once again a success.  Its REALLY laid back and chill here in Enoch, but Seth loves it and he did great!  It was nice to have something for him to look forward to a couple days a week during the summer.

Jaquelle's first hair cut

Jaq before her hair cut
Well I did it.  Well actually my good friend Melissa did, but I finally got the courage to make it really happen.....Jaquelle had her FIRST hair cut of her life (with the exception of Lily Huff cutting a chunk out of her hair while we were playing at their house one day).  Her hair was pretty much down to her bum, and where it as long and beautiful and looked darling all curly or crinkly from a braid, it was a NIGHTMARE every day to comb it out.  And with the new cut, it has been blissful!!!  Matter of fact she can even come it all herself saving me a huge daily battle. She didn't say a single word the whole time we were cutting it and I secretly think she was nervous but willing to do it.  The only things she said to me was when we got home she asked, "Will it grow back?" And I of course confirmed that it would, and she was okay with that.  So glad we did this....now I need to cut my own.
Not the greatest picture to see the fantastic end result, but she was anxious to be done and go and play so I had to take a quick one while I could.  We took off about 5-6 inches and i think it looks so cute.

Memorial Day Hidden Falls Hike

Well it was Memorial Day and we decided to do our famous Memorial Day hike to Hidden Falls  up Parowan Canyon. I think we've done this hike more often then not on Memorial Day since we've been married so it wasn't new but its a super easy hike for the kids and its pretty and wet!  This year we invited the Christians and Tori and Jake (Cordelle's co-worker and her finance)  So overall it was a quick fun hike for the afternoon.
