Happy 3rd Birthday Collin

It was a fabulous Minion and Cars Birthday for Mr. Collin!  Followed by parades and all sorts of festivities for the 24 of July.  Grandma and Grandpa Morris and uncle Scott joined us for the parade and games in Enoch, followed by nighttime neighborhood fireworks!  What a day!
(He didn't stop playing with those cars for 3 weeks! Seriously.)

Jaq at the climbing wall on the 24th celebrations in Enoch.
Squinting for pictures in the bright sun.
Aren't these pictures the best?  They are totally mid air!  Jaq was so nice to go down with Collin.  They both got soaked and then froze the rest of the day at the park.  It was nice weather but certainly not a warm day.  But that look of pure joy can compare to little else.

And it wouldn't be Collin's birthday without a watermelon eating picture at the park!  Man does he love watermelon!

This was supposed to be a horse race, but he insisted on walking as SLOW as possible all the way to the end line and then back.  It was too funny.  There was no rushing this great stick horse experience for him.

A little about Collin:

Since it is Collin's birthday I just want to take a minute and remember Collin at this age.  He really is the joy of our home.  He is my little Sunshine and I cannot get enough of him.  I have never had a kid that I seriously cannot get upset with.  He can do no wrong, because he is so quick to say, I'm sorry mom, or give me a hug and say, "maybe next time, I will do that."  Ha!!  He LOVES to sing, and I can't get enough of it.  I love the time we have together and am SO blessed with his cuddly, mom-loving attention I get.  He is OBSESSED with cars. (Yes, the cars from the Disney movie Cars) but also any type or kind of car.  He can play with cars on the floor for HOURS.  Hours.  Its crazy. He also still loves to swing, and play soccer and anything with his older siblings, although the frustration is great when he tries to conquer dominoes like Seth.  Seth and Jaq constantly are trying to get him to side with their favorite college (Seth BYU and Jaq SUU) to which he diplomatically now cheers "Go "BY" -"SUU." So glad he is in our family!

JULY ins and outs....but mostly outs.

Seth and the girls with their mobile Lemonade stand!
  Me and the Seth Man

Nice little picture message Cordelle sent me while I was gone!  Haha!  Isn't this the truth!

The mystery goose ache.  I can't remember what happened.  But such is the life of a kid in the summer.

We decided we needed to get out one weekend with just us since we totally have a trailer, the mountains SO close and nothing better to do!

And this picture....is at the Cedar City Temple Groundbreaking!  Cordelle was asked to design all the invitations and posters so we got to take our turn digging at the Ground Breaking!  So COOL!

LAGOON!!!

This year we didn't have any vacation plans and since we missed Jaq's dance performance to lagoon, we decided this would be a great mini-vaca for us this year.  And who knew?  MY KIDS LOVED IT!  I actually think they liked it better than Disneyland.  It was just a really good day.  We got on all the rides we wanted to with minimal waiting time, went to Lagoon-a-beach, had cousins to hang out with all day.  It was really a lot of fun!

ITS SUMMER!!!!

I got that summa time, summa time....(sadness?  What a depressing song.) NO I GOT THE SUMMA TIME GLADNESS!
Cordelle has been wanting to play horseshoes in the summer games for years.  This year, he decided to do doubles at the last minute but didn't have a partner.  So he showed up hoping to find someone in the same boat.  And he did.  He found this 90+ old man (who was actually quite good) and together they snuck away with Gold.  He was an onery old guy and Cordelle didn't play his best, but when it counted they both pulled through and got it!  Haha!  Ping Pong and Horseshoes!  Oh Cordelle!
This was how swollen and Cordelle's screw in his leg from his ACL surgery got.  Isn't that gross?

Many of our early Saturday mornings were filled with digging out the area for our basketball court.  The kids got involved and helped where they could.  This was a HUGE project. More to come over the next couple of months.

Summer time means friends and swimming in the back yard....
except for Collin who will neither go out in the sun (I swear he has some sensitivity to heat) or will join in when there is a big group of kids.  So he hung with me most of the summer on my Mothers Day gift to myself: my long awaited porch swing!
 PIZZA at the HUB.
 Sidewalk art.
 Free lunch at the Park.
And a great deal of our summer was watching Seth's domino creations.  One after another.  He actually got quite good!

Summer Games Fire Works with friends

 Crazy hair before hair cuts!

Days at the Lake with friends! (Christians, Frisbys, Ramsays, Laubs)

Visiting with family. Especially their favorite Trevor!
