Everyday pics from JULY!

Certainly not as busy as June....
Finally go this bad boy and his friend that have been freaking me out the last couple of weeks.  Haven't seen any droppings since so I think we are in the clear.  GROSS!

Double rainbow lit up facebook after this appeared.

Collin's "stink bug" pose.  We love it when he does this, especially when we can hurry and say peek a boo to him in between his legs before he crashes down.

Whats a little flour party!  He loved this that I just couldn't take it away too quickly.

,Since the Paces took our kids for the 4th, we took their kids for a weekend and had a blast.  After the labor of the kids outside making an epic volcano and using a whole box of baking soda, vinegar and food coloring, I'd say it was a success!

Even Collin discovered his newest cousin friend!  Zach was delighted to push Collin around but was a little disappointed when he couldn't return the favor.

Almost fried my car and our sweet employee Courtney's car when I went to jump start it and put my positive end on the negative battery part.  OOPS!  Granted the red that you can see there was way down below so I couldn't tell at the time.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COLLIN AND a Happy 24th of July!!

Oh how this kid has my heart!  Today Collin turned one and I couldn't be more thrilled to celebrate it with him on a holiday!  But before I go into that let me say what a joy this little boy has been to our family this past year.  I have never felt the spirit of someone so small affect so many.  People are drawn to him.  He smiles at strangers and hugs anyone who will pick him up.  He DEFINITELY is a mammas boy but he will also hug (lean his head on people) and go to a friendly face as well.  He just hasn't been crawling long so I figure walking is a ways away but that's fine with me because it keeps my baby a baby longer. :)  His blue eyes and gummy smile make me melt.  He loves being outside and being entertained by Seth and Jaq.  My heart has grown so much this past year having this kid in our family!

This was the only picture I could get with him and his presents.  There was no way he was going to turn his back on those toys for a minute.
We then hit the road into Cedar City to watch the 24th of  July Parade.  It was a great way to spend his birthday outside!

After lunch we had cake and ice cream but I am lame and only got video and no actual pictures! Later that day we hit up the Enoch parade and then went down to the park for games and dinner.
Jaq got her face painted which made her feel like she was on cloud 9!  Seth on the other hand has never allowed anyone to ever paint his face, so he settled for some sort of disguise.

Love this candid one!

Whoa!  Who is that?

A day at the lake on the hill

Taylor, Ty, Madi, McKinnley, Johnny, Wyatt, Seth, Kailey, Kennady, Jaq, Oliver, Camry, Collin and Trey
We didn't make it up to the lake on the hill very much this summer which is a bummer.  And the couple of times we did go it was stormy and cold or Collin was tired so we never stayed long.  So when the kids from the circle were going one last time before school for Johnny's birthday we decided to join them and it was such a perfect day for the lake.
Even Collin woke up from his nap and got in the water and the mud.

Seth and I took out a canoe for a bit.

But mostly the kids do what they do best which is play in the mud while us mom's sit and chat!
We love our little lake on the hill!

Swim Lessons with Mandy!

Mandy is a good friend of ours and she loves teaching swimming, is super great with kids, has a pool in her backyard and lives only 2 streets away! So.... No more driving into town for swim lessons. We just hit the pool for swimming lessons at her house and the kids love it.  They are by no means making leaps and bounds when it comes to swimming but at least they are becoming more comfortable in the water.

And It always helps to do it with friends. Here's Ella and Jaq

Our little momma hang out where we pretty much melted while our kids swam and complained that the water was cold.  Whaaaaa!

Some parts of swimming are best learned....on the grass.  Monkey, airpane, soldier!!  Apparently that's all there is to swimming!  Great technique!

And Madi and Wyatt and Caleb were in Seth's class!

Cousins are some of the best friends!

Doesn't every girl remember braiding their hair just to take it out and make it wavy the next day?  That's what these two beauties discovered.  Aren't they beautiful?

4th of july weekend continued

Well as I mentioned my sister Krista and her family took in our kids for the weekend so we could stay the night in Provo and go to Stadium of Fire.  The kids had a blast watching fire works and staying up late with their cousins.  They even saved some sparklers to do for us the next night when we all met back up.

Then the next morning my sister does this neighborhood street parade for all the kids and then does this pancake breakfast right after at her house for whoever wants to come.  I was glad we were able to participate in it, since we've heard about it for years.  What a fun tradition.
