SAN DIEGO TRIP!!!
So this last week Cordelle and I dropped Sethers off with my sisters in S.L. and flew out to San Diego for Cordelle's work conference. It was the first time I had ever flown, is that crazy? It takes me 25 years to finally get on a plane! But I liked it. We stayed at this nice resort on Coronado and the weather was SOOO perfect. Unfortunately Cordelle was pretty busy most of the time so I got to hang out with Holly Kelly while our husbands slaved away. Basically I just lounged my prego body around the pool and read a lot. It was really relaxing. I took naps, swam, went to the beach, ate....what a fun vacation (well for me). I felt bad Cordelle was so busy, but he did get a little free time to go to the beach with me. And one night we had dinner on the USS Midway and then saw The Oakridge Boys in concert out on the deck of it! (Who are are the Oakridge Boys you ask?...some no name 1960's country western band...but they were strangely entertaining) Anyways here's some pics from our trip!

Food Storage FHE
So we've been trying for awhile to do this whole food storage thing and Cordelle finally got some shelves up and so last night we transferred all our food over to their new shelves. Its nice to be able to see what you have in a more organized way rather than in big piles in the basement. He did a good job dont you think? And of course we have to thank Cordelles awesome mother for helping us collect most our food storage with great shopping and good deals she finds up north. (Thanks Ma Morris) That whole room will be lined with more similar shelves for holiday and camping stuff! Pays to be married to a handy man.

Oh Seth!!
Well this is just one of those random posts mostly for my sake, but hopefully for your enjoyment as well. Seth's been doing some crazy things lately and I wanted to make sure I wrote them down somewhere. Okay so the pictures are him sneaking a "Reisen" out of my stash and casually laying down on our bed to devour it. He was so innocent and happy about it I couldnt possibly get upset that there were chocolate handprints on every peice of fabric within a 5 foot radius. Then the other day I heard him just babbling away in the kitchen, so I went to check on him and he was just talking to the wall. There wasnt anything on it or anyone there and my first thought was...my kid has lost it. He's going to loony town. Then I watched him and he kept waving and saying "Hi" over and over. It was then that I realized he was talking and waving at his shadow. It was so funny I wished I would have been able to record it. Unfortunately my laughs embarrassed him and he hurried and said "bye" to his shadow then ran away.
Then there are his less "glamorous" moments. Like when he threw his sippy cup across the cultural hall during sacrament meeting, or when he took a permanent marker to the walls, door, computer keyboard and screen within a matter of seconds! But despite all those, I love this little kid like, well, I guess like only a mother would understand. He is so fun!

5 YEARS?! HOLY CANOLIE!
So my hunk and I have now been married 5 whole years! Time does fly. I was going to grace you all with a slideshow of wedding photos so we could all walk hand in hand down memory lane but lucky for you, I cant find them in a format I could upload them (Im not sure if we ever had them in digital format). Goes to show how much 5 years can do. Anyways I decided to settle for an engagement picture. However as I was rummaging through all our old photos from when we first got married, I just had to laugh. I wouldnt have ever admitted it before without seeing the before and after, but Cordelle has actually filled out... a little. I cant get over how young he looked! Ah, how shallow of me to talk about stuff like this when most of you would be half way through the moosh and goosh of those newly married years by now.Let me just say, God truly does know how to put two people that need each other together. Its funny when your looking, you think you know what you want, but years and years after being together you realize there's only one person who knew not only what you really wanted, but what you really needed too. And thats why I am so grateful God sent him into my life. Cordelle has truly been my prince. He is a rock and I love him more than anything in this world. 5 years has been good to us. And luckily we'll have a lot longer than that to be together. (Sniff, sniff) okay, kleenex anyone? No? Just me? Thought so. Have a wonderful day :)!
