Thanksgiving Break

I am guessing this was Cordelle who took this picture.  I almost never take pictures of my food.  ANYWAYS, thanksgiving was with the Durrant side this year out in Vernon.  It was nice and full of delicious foods.  We spent the rest of the time back and forth with the families. Collin was going through  a really weird thing.  He started getting extremely frustrated with EVERYTHING, especially eating.  It was like he had a virus one day with the regular symptoms and then he just snapped, it started effecting his personality and he was just off and weird.  We were really worried because it was so out of character for him.  We took him in, but they found nothing.  I did some energy work with him and it seemed to help.  Weird though.  I wonder what that was all about.  I've never seen a virus do that before.  Made the thanksgiving weekend difficult to say the least.
One night Cordelle took Seth to his high school friend's house for a Jazz game, so I took Jaq and Collin downtown to see the lights with my parents and Krista and kids.  We had a good time.

The ultimate Date night!

Warning!  May cause sever cases of jealousy.  I have the most romantic husband ever.  So Cordelle has been out of town for a week, but when he got home he took me out on a date.  Little did I know we'd be getting take out, driving to the top of a parking garage over looking main street in Cedar city, where he proceeds to plug in a lamp and a stereo, sets up table and chairs and we get a very secluded dinner with a great view.  After dinner he turned on his play list and we danced on the top level of the parking garage.  There were few people that came and went, but for the most part we were completely alone.  It was SO much fun!  How romantic is he?  He consistently comes up with creative, fun, dating ideas.  I seriously don't know where I found him.  BUT I am SO lucky I did.  I wish I would've snapped more pictures of the night, especially one with us actually IN IT.  But I'll never forget it.  I am the luckiest woman in the world.  I love you Cordelle!!

November Adventures

So Cordelle had to go out of town this month....SO that means that the kids and I go to.... IHOP.  Where else?? Its tradition.  Kids eat free so....Can't beat that!  Then its off to home, showers and cuddling with our blankies on the couch so we can send a pic to dad while he's away.

Cordelle wrapped up Collin so tightly in his blanket that he could only waddle around the house.  It was pretty funny and he loved it.  When he fell over (and he inevitably did), he couldn't catch himself but he was fine with all the padding. :)
Jaquelle sporting one of the outfits her Aunt Tallie bought her after the ultimate 6 year old shopping spree!
Tallie and Jim were down  in town visiting so we decided to go out to eat at Brody's for Neals birthday.
It seems like I have many pictures of Neal on his birthday in a large sombrero. Interesting.
Happy Birthday Neal 27!!

This was a great night!  Cordelle's company The Leavitt Group did their big holiday party and the entertainment (that is always put on by the Marketing Dept. aka Cordelle's old department) decided to do Family Feud.  The Callisters (since like 3 brothers work there in pretty significant postitions) against of course, the Leavitt Family.  Only there were 4 Leavitt family members making the Callister family short one person.  SO.....Cordelle got to be cast as Cordella - the long lost Callister sister.  It was pretty funny and he did a great job. :)
