Still not the greatest sleeper but when he's awake he is just a big chunk of joy.  Don't these pictures make you just want to squeeze him?  Love!

Happy 4th Birthday Collin!!

I dont know what made us cave.  But what is the BEST gift to give someone who is obsessed with cars?  Oh.  His own.  :)  The yellow beetle found its place into our living room to surprise one little, lucky 4 year old boy!

Birthday party with Ty and Ben (Buds).

And then, for his actual birthday, there was of course the park celebrations and parade.  Nothing like a pioneer day baby!

I have no idea why he was so sad here, but it was funny.  I think he probably wanted to go down the blow up slide again and it was time to go?  Oh the many sides of Collin.
Thankfully the best part of today was we had so much family here with us.  Neal and Brittlyn came down, Tallie and Jim were here, and Grandma and Grandpa Morris.  The Morris' came over for fireworks and it was overall a great day!!
Happy 4th Birthday to one of my favorite humans.

Today we celebrate our independence....and other July happenings

 Nothing like a hot parade.

I love the 4th of July.  But this 4th, I was feeling sad, cause I love being with family and lounging or laying soccer at a park...so Cordelle tried to spruce up my spirits by taking us all golf ball hunting.  It was the fun of an easter egg hunt, but with golf balls in a huge field of wheat.  We actually found quite a few and despite the heat, had a good time. He is a fun, clever dad.

McKinnley and Seth babysitting Cody during summer basketball.

One day Collin independently went down into the storage room and came up holding these and saying, I want "pasghetti" for dinner.  He does love his pasta like his daddy.
July 1st Cordelle started his new job at Southwest Applied Technology College as the new Marketing Director.  This is a horrible pic of his office which is AWESOME!  After quite the deliberation, we left the Leavitt Group after 10 years and he has never looked back.  It has been such a blessing in disguise and he has loved the new challenge and the awesome things he will be able to do for the school. Happy Job! Happy Bob!  err.. I mean Cordelle.  Rhymes!

Its the ONE thing he'll spend money on and he spends a LOT of his own money on it.  He loves his some fireworks

Sometimes its fun to see how your yard looks from year to year.  Heres a view from the back porch.

The Kelly's "Shabin"

We've been wanting to go camping for awhile.  When the Kelly's swooped in to fill the need.  They asked us to join us at their cabin by Panguitch lake.  It was really SO much fun!  We swung on their huge tree swings, had smores around the fire, rode 4-wheelers, and they introduced us to the Mammoth caves!  They are great hosts and such fun friends!

There was only one moment of panic when I accompanied Collin through a cave that had me on my stomach crawling over boulders that left me smashed half way on the ceiling of the cave (about 2 feet above the ground) but Collin wanted to follow the older kids and I wasn't about to let him go without me.  Whew!!

Did we forget how hard it is to have a baby camping?  That was a long cold night.  Worth it right?
We're both exhausted!
This was a high light!  We did some serious 4-wheeling and had a blast.  Since Cordelle's not much of a 4-wheeler, I got to have most the fun driving the kids around.

And then there was these swings.  And by swings I mean SAAAWIIINNNGs!  They were awesome! The ground sloped down so when you got to the peak you were actually quite high!  Both adults and the kids had a blast!
